Social Skills, Language, Peer interaction and Attention

Classes support attention, social interaction, processing social anxiety issues, general social interaction and language development. Obstacle courses, group games, and swing activities in our sensory-motor gym support gross motor development. As for fine motor skills, crafts, music and finger play are a part of the curriculum . Attention and listening skill challenges are integrated throughout sessions.

Group sessions are for children between 3 and 8 or 9 years old, and we meet one hour a week for ten weeks. Ongoing parental support and weekly feedback are provided throughout the ten weeks.

I highly recommend this fun place! The difference is experienced Therapists who knows how to help a child with Sensory issues, behavior issues as well as difficulty following directions. The activities selected are fun, helps him connect with other children, all while also addressing the difficulties he has with holding a crayon and cutting. We love coming to Sensational Kids!
