6 Wk Camp: 3-5y & 6-9y groups June 29, 2010 - Aug 5, 2010 / $2,100 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays / 2 ½ hr each: 3 – 5y: 10 am – 12:30 am / 6 – 9y: 1 pm – 3:30 pm Non-reundable deposit: $600 by 6/7/10* Balance: 6/29/10 Children make friends and improve classroom survival skills while having fun. Our sensory rich environment and multi-sensory approach lead to improving motivation and participation by learning through play. Our beautiful Sensory-Integration gym and sensory rich materials are specifically used and designed to improve the sensory, motor and social skills of each child. The use of music, group games and gross motor activities such as obstacle courses and swinging are built into our program to improve skill as well as to aid in self regulation. We build on the different learning styles and strengths of your child, leading to self confidence and improved developmental skills. We specifically attempt to integrate parent requested areas of focus as well as IEP/504 goals within our program. Our staff is highly experienced in handling children with behavioral issues, but your child must be able to safely participate and behavior cannot limit other children’s participation. Multi-Sensory approach to Pre-Writing and Emerging Handwriting (Using the acclaimed Handwriting Without Tears program), Classroom Tool Manipulation, Sensory-Motor development, Social Skills, Group Interaction, Attention and Direction Following, as well as Sensory Integration. Lots of group games, gross motor & summer fun activities incorporated. Our engaging Sensory-Integration room and sensory rich materials are specifically used and designed to improve the sensory, motor as well as social development of each child. Our multi-sensory program is sure to engage your child. Activities range from structured group games, crafts, obstacle courses, fine motor and handwriting development games (appropriate to age). Our program is theme based for motivation and we incorporate lots of movement, sensory and summer fun activities into our program.
2 Wk Therapy Intensives: 3-5y & 6-9y groups Aug 17, 2010 - Aug 26, 2010: $799 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays / 2 ½ hr each: 3 – 5y: 10 am – 12:30 am / 6 – 9y: 1 pm – 3:30 pm This program incorporate all of the above elements but your child is more intensely challenged in terms of fine motor, pre-writing and handwriting development.

I highly recommend this camp experience to any parent with a special needs child and also for typical children dealing with sensory processing, handwriting, attention and overall social issues. The staff is highly experienced and the groups are small, which I appreciated. We were able to consult with a Certified Behavior Analyst and Floortime specialist at the end of the camp which was very helpful. Their Occupational Therapy program also helped my son’s handwriting and sensory processing issues along. And what’s more… my child loved coming!
